Giving

Why give?

When you give (tithe), you’re trusting God with your finances.

Tithing is a biblical principle. God calls us to give the first 10% of our income back to Him. We’ve seen God provide abundantly in our church, and we know He will provide abundantly for you and your family when you put Him first in your finances. In fact, it’s the one area in the Bible where God tells you to test Him.

It’s impossible to out-give God, but you’ll never regret trying!

What will my money be used for?

We are a not-for-profit organisation, regulated by the Charity Commission. That means every penny you give is spent on furthering the work of the church in Sutton, St Helens. It’s also worth noting that every member of our team is a volunteer. The money you donate is spent on:
* Maintaining the amazing building that God has given us
* Ensuring the spaces we work in are clean, safe and somewhere you feel comfortable spending time
* Subsidizing events/youth clubs that we run; this ensures that the costs to our community are kept to a minimum
* Buying materials for the work God does in church to help deepen our understanding of what it means to be a Christian
* Coffee, tea and biscuits – essential supplies for any meeting of God’s people, of which you are one!
