Maybe you’ve heard what Jesus has done for others. You want to believe He can do the same for you, but you’re not sure it’s even possible. Jesus made several promises in the Bible—but what do they mean today?
Over the next few weeks we’re going to find out together in our series He Promises, based on six promises that have been made to followers of Jesus. He promises:
- that you are the one He loves (20/4)
- that you will know His voice (27/4)
- that He will be with you always (4/5)
- you His peace (11/5)
- that you don’t have to worry (18/5)
- to give you rest (25/5)
After the service each week, we will post the message video here, but if you really want to experience all that God has planned for your life, join us at 10.45am as we learn together as a church family.
Week 1 – Does God Still Love Me?
Have you ever asked yourself, “Does God love me?” Maybe you struggle to believe you’re even worthy of love. If you’ve ever doubted God’s love, you won’t want to miss this message.
Week 2 – Hearing God’s Voice
Do you ever find it difficult to hear God speak? Jesus is a good shepherd, and we can learn to recognize His voice. How? Ask God to speak to you, listen to what He says, and do what He tells you to do.
Week 3 – You’re Not Alone In The Struggle
There are times when God takes us into storms not to discipline us, but to disciple us. When storms come, we can remain confident that Jesus will be with us through it all.
Week 4 – Finding Peace In Your Thoughts
With so much happening in the world and our lives, having a peaceful mind can feel impossible. While Jesus doesn’t promise a trouble-free life, He does promise you a path to peace.
Week 5 – Finding Freedom From Your Worries
Jesus promises us that we don’t have to worry. How is that even possible? Because God loves us and cares about the details of our lives. Through Him, we can find freedom from our worries.
Week 6 – When You’re Tired Of Being Tired
Jesus promises that even when we’re tired of being tired, we can come to Him for rest. Why? Because He is gentle and humble in heart. We can live life His way and find deep rest in our souls.
