On Sunday 19 April, we’re going to be starting a new message series called Shoes. The series will follow six different Bible characters who, if they were around today would each wear certain types of shoes; like stilletoes, work boots, smart shoes, trainers.
Over the six weeks, as a church we’re going to be collecting your unwanted shoes to donate back to the community or to a charity called Shoe Aid.
It doesn’t matter what type of shoes they are, as long as they’re in a wearable condition and they come as a pair, they’ll do. Ideally, link pairs together with laces or straps.
We know how difficult it can be to ask for help, but if you are in a situation where you need some new shoes, contact our team in confidence and we’ll arrange for you to come into church in private and take what you need.
