We live in the most connected age in history, yet loneliness is at an all-time high. Technology can draw us closer—or leave us isolated. The answer isn’t ditching devices; it’s learning to live The Connected Life and build meaningful relationships.
Across three Sundays in August 2026 we are going to look at:
Sun 2 August – When Social Media Steals Your Joy
All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:44-47 NIV
Sun 9 August – Guarding Your Family From Digital Danger
After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.” Nehemiah 4:14 NIV
Sun 16 August – Finding Real Community In A Digital World
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2 NIV
