For our final Thirst session of 2023, we let our hair down for a bit of a pre-Christmas party as we threw a Barn Dance.
The aim of Thirst is to look at ways of deepening our relationship with God, but that doesn’t mean we have to sit having deep, theological discussions every time.
At SVC we believe God wants us to have fun in our lives and December’s event gave us just that opportunity.
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,”

After a word of prayer to thank God for our church family and for the gift of fellowship, we enjoyed food together and then tried our best to learn some new dance moves. Let’s be polite and say that some learnt quicker than others!
